Teaching and Learning (https://fcrr.org/studentactivities/literature_45.htm) is a website created by the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR). The website is a multidisplinary research center to help with literacy related skills and helps struggling readers. Many websites that provide literacy resources require usernames, passwords, and a fee. This website does not require any of those and is available for everyone. Though this website's original intention is to provide research and strategies for Florida schools, it can benefit any school because it is aligned with the common core  standards. The FCRR has a four part mission: to provide research on reading, to disseminate information on research-based practices, and provide technical assistance for the improvement of literacy outcomes in students from pre-K through 12th grade.
In the Student Center Activities, you can access an abundance of resources. Here you will find, a Teacher Resource Guide, lessons and activities for fluency, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension. For each grade level, there is a variety of grade specific activities for literacy that is compiled onto an organized chart. The activities are organized by CCSS standards. There is an activity that can fit almost every student's needs ranging from story mapping, strategy games, and retelling reviews.
