Reading Rockets provides some reading apps that are good, interesting and fun for students.  These apps will motivate the kids to practice using different literacy skills.  These practices are important in print awareness, phonics, spelling and vocabulary, comprehension, and writing.  These apps are used for different students with different capabilities.  It can be for dyslexia, ADHD, and an Autism spectrum disorder.  On this website, you will find, Teaching Reading, and it has many categories. It has classroom strategies, reading basics, looking at writing, etc.  You will also find, Helping Struggling Readers, and under it is how you will apply it.  There is a parent involvement part.  You can also find many different reading topics.  This is one of the good sites teachers need to visit when teaching literacy.
